About Us

John and Trish run a successful car racing business in Christchurch specialising in high performance single seater race cars, both current and classic and offer full restoration and manufacturing in their purpose built workshop at Ruapuna Park Raceway. 15 minutes drive away.

Their move to Aylesbury came as an opportunity arose to buy a parcel of land (10 hectres) 25 acres on an existing grass airfield and so the dream of living and working on an airfield was born. Their home has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are dedicated to their bed and breakfast operation. They enjoy meeting new people especially those with a love of aviation, cars and engineering.

Trish has particular skills in entertaining and cooking with functions her specialty. She has a keen interest in the above and is extremely good at logistics and planning travel.

Both John and Trish are easy to get on with and make guests very welcome in their spacious, modern home.

There are lots of activities close to Aylesbury which make for a fun and enjoyable stay. Skiing, biking, hiking and hot air ballooning and of course flying are all part of the local scene.
